suncitygroup太阳集团前身是1960年东北石油学院创建时成立的石油机械系。现有教职工155人，其中博士生导师32人，教授40人，副教授42人，博士85人，硕士42人。团队队伍中有双聘院士1人，教育部教指委委员2人，“龙江学者”特聘教授2人、“青年学者”1人，省级领军人才梯队带头人及后备带头人12人，享受国务院和省政府特殊津贴专家3人，省部级教学名师及教学新秀（能手）5人。

公司设机电工程、过程装备与控制工程、材料科学与工程、工业设计、工程力学、能源与动力工程6个系及工程训练、石油工程节能技术2个中心。开办机械设计制造及其自动化（国家一流专业、工程教育认证专业、省重点专业）、过程装备与控制工程（国家一流专业、工程教育认证专业、国家特色专业、省重点专业）、能源与动力工程（国家一流专业）、金属材料工程（省一流专业、省重点专业）、工业设计、工程力学、车辆工程、安全工程8个本科专业。设有动力工程及工程热物理一级学科博士后流动站，机械工程博士学位授权一级学科，以及油气田机械工程、安全与环境工程2个博士学位授权点，机械工程、动力工程及工程热物理2个硕士学位授权一级学科及材料学硕士点，在机械（含机械工程、工业设计工程方向）、能源动力（动力工程方向）2个领域具有硕士专业学位授权。

公司拥有机械设计及理论、化工过程机械、流体机械及工程、动力机械及工程4个省级领军人才梯队，2个国家计量认证实验室和8个省部级重点实验室、研究中心及技术创新中心。“十二五”以来，承担国家科技支撑计划课题、“863”课题、“973”课题及国家自然基金项目和省部级课题110余项，年均科研经费2500余万元，获得省部级以上科研成果奖20余项。发表论文920余篇，出版学术专著和教材20余部。

历经近60年发展建设，suncitygroup太阳集团已成为培养石油石化机械工程技术人才和开展石油、石化装备技术研究的重要基地。先后获国家科技进步特等奖2项，国家科技进步二等奖3项，国家优秀教学成果二等奖1项。为国家输送了逾万名毕业生，涌现出一大批以中国工程院王玉普院士、刘合院士等为代表的优秀人才。 （数据更新2022.3.14）

Introduction to the School of Mechanical Science and Engineering, NEPU

School of Mechanical Science and Engineering was originally from the Department of Petroleum Machinery that founded in 1960, the very beginning of our university foundation. Now we have 145 faculty members, among which 27 Ph.D supervisors, 45 professors, and 55 associate professors. We also have 1 dual-employed academician, 2 committee members of Chinese Ministry of Education's Steering Committee on Teaching, 2 “Longjiang Scholar” distinguished professors, 12 leaders or reserve leaders of provincial discipline leading groups, 3 experts with special allowances of China state council and provincial governments, and 5 provincial/ministerial teaching masters or experts.

We have 5 departments, i.e., Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Process Equipment and Control Engineering, Material Science and Engineering, Industrial Design, Engineering Mechanics, and 2 centers, i.e., Engineering Training Center and Energy Saving Technology Center in Petroleum Engineering. 7 undergraduate specialties are now set up, including Machinery design, manufacture and automation (China Engineering Education Accredited, provincial first-class, provincial key specialty), Process equipment and control engineering (China Engineering Education Accredited, national first-class, national characteristic, provincial key specialty), Metal material engineering (provincial key specialty), Industrial design, Engineering mechanics, Vehicle engineering, and Safety engineering. We own 1 post-doctoral mobile station, i.e., Power engineering and engineering thermal physics, 1 Mechanical engineering doctoral degree authorization first-tier discipline and 2 doctoral degree authorization points, i.e., Oil and gas field mechanical engineering, Safety and environmental engineering, 2 master degree authorization first-tier disciplines in Mechanical engineering, Power engineering and engineering thermophysics, 1 master degree authorization point in Materials science, and 2 professional master degree authorization fields in Machinery (directions of Mechanical engineering and Industrial design engineering), and Energy and power (direction of Power engineering).

We own 4 provincial discipline leading groups, i.e., Machinery design and theory, Chemical process machinery, Fluid machinery and engineering, and Power machinery and engineering. Currently there are 2 China Metrology Accreditation Laboratories, 8 provincial/ministerial level key laboratories, R&D centers, or technology innovation centers. Since 2011, more than 110 national scientific research projects including national 863 program project, national 973 program project, national science and technology support program project, national natural science foundation projects and other provincial projects have been undertaken. Average annual research funding is over 25 million RMB yuan. Over 20 provincial/ministerial science and technology awards have been awarded. Over 920 academic papers and over 20 books have been published.

Experiencing nearly 60 years’ development, the School of Mechanical Science and Engineering has become an important base of cultivating petroleum and petro-chemical mechanical engineering talents and conducting researches on petroleum and petro-chemical facilities. 2 national science and technology progress outstanding awards and 3 national science and technology progress second-grade awards have been awarded. 1 national excellent teaching achievement second-grade award was obtained. Over 10 thousand excellent students graduated, including some experts represented by Chinese Engineering Academicians Wang Yupu and Liu He.
